Would your child know what to do if the child they were babysitting was choking? Does your child babysit their younger siblings? This class teaches the skills needed to be a Better Baby Sitter. CPR on children and infants, First Aid, Growth and Development, and marketing skills will be taught. Students receive a fully stocked First Aid kit. The police and Fire speakers are invited to discuss safety topics while babysitting.
Students will learn CPR and the Heimlich maneuver on children and infants,, They will learn basic first aid, problem solving and decision making, empowerment and marketing skills along with growth and development of children and babies.
